Dan Gaspar to present at United Soccer Coaches Convention in Chicago

His first session was Friday, 1-11-19 Field Session: “The Team Warms up the Goalkeeper” at 5:15pm. Followed up the field session on Saturday, 1-12-19 with “Conversation with a Moderator” One on One "Spot Light" at 1pm.

Coach Gaspar Returns from the PEAK International GK Conference

Here is what Coach Gaspar had to say about his time in Holland. “I just returned as featured presenter at the PEAK Performance GK Conference. I was honored to be associated with an elite group of presenter's from Italy, Egypt, Portugal, Switzerland and Holland. There was a very sophisticated audience. Coach Dan Gaspar inducted to the Bulkeley High School Hall of Fame

Here is some of what he had to say “ I am grateful and honored to have been inducted this past Sunday into the 2018 Bulkeley High School Hall of Fame. Thank you HOF Committee for your nomination as well as my respect and admiration to all the inductees. Coach Raffalo, was an outstanding role model and had a tremendous impact in establishing my coaching philosophy. Thumbs up to you Coach Raffalo!”.

The U.S. U18 Boys Team wins the Vaclav Jezec 8 Nation Tournament in the Czech Republic.

Coach Dan Gaspar joined the U18 USA Boys National team on their journey to the Czech Republic for the Vaclav Jezec 8 Nation Tournament where they went on to win 1st place. Coach Gaspar said " Could not have received a better birthday gift than the U18 National Team winning the Vaclav Jezec 8 Nation Tournament in the Czech Republic. Grateful for the invitation as guest coach and the opportunity to work with quality coaches Dave van Den Bergh and Wayne Galloway under the leadership of Tab Ramos. Proud to wear the US crest and excited about the future generation of talented US players."

Dan Gaspar to present at Peak Elite Goalkeeper Conference

Coach Dan Gaspar will be the first top-Clinician at the PEGC 2018. Maarten Arts is quoted saying "DAN IS ONE OF THE MOST EXPERIENCED AND SUCCESSFUL GOALKEEPING COACHES IN THE WORLD!HE WAS A.O. GK COACH AT BENFICA,SPORTING LISBON AND FC PORTO (WON THE WORLD CUP FOR CLUB TEAMS).HE WORKED IN 4 OF THE 5 CONTINENTS, INCLUDING GRAMPUS EIGHT (JAPAN), THE NATIONAL TEAMS OF PORTUGAL, GABON AND SOUTH AFRICA AND THE U.S.A.. HE QUALIFIED 2X FOR THE FIFA WORLD CUP WITH THE IRANIAN NATIONAL TEAM. DAN HAS IMPLEMENTED HIS OWN GOALKEEPING PHILOSOPHY IN HIS STAR GOALKEEPING ACADEMY. FAREWELL IRAN AND HELLO TO THE FUTURE

For the past six years, it has been a pleasure to serve the Iran National A Team as Assistant Coach, Team Coordinator and Goalkeeper Coach. I am excited to explore new opportunities and share the valuable knowledge and experiences I gained working on this amazing and challenging project.

I am proud that I was a part of the team that qualified for the 2014 Brazil World Cup, 2015 Asian Cup and 2018 Russia World Cup – triumphs for the Iranian people. Our many successes were the result of a hardworking and talented technical staff and administrators. I am honored to have worked alongside them all.

I have admiration for the Team Melli players. Despite the many obstacles, they played with courage, determination and love for their country.

I have enormous gratitude for the fans that offered incredible support during the entire journey. They are amazing passionate soccer fans.

I wish the Iran National Team success as they prepare for the 2018 Russia World Cup. I have no doubt they will represent their country with dignity.

I am grateful to everyone who has followed me on the many journeys throughout my career. Thank you for all your support and best wishes.

As this chapter ends, I look forward to starting a new one and seeing what the future holds!

For more than 35 years, Dan Gaspar has studied and created ideal training methods for goalkeeper and field player development.

He has worked with world-class coaches: Luiz Felipe Scolari, Carlos Queiroz and José Antonio Camacho. His knowledge, expertise and savvy earned him the invitation to join the Portugal National Team coaching staff for the 2010 South Africa World Cup. Currently working with Iran National Team as they prepare to qualify for the 2018 Russia World Cup. Dan has set himself apart in the coaching profession working on four different continents. 

With his diverse expertise and strong interpersonal skills, he can motivate, train and educate athletes and coaches of all levels, and manage teams at every level.
